E.M. Wickwire Associates, L.L.C. (Associates) is a financial advisory firm specializing in a wide range of financial management issues at C.I.C. member colleges and other independent higher education institutions which afffect not only their fiscal wellbeing, but also academic accreditation and D.O.E. regulatory oversight issues.

Associates was formed in 1991 by Mr. Wickwire and a small group of other experienced financial professionals totally focused on the identification and resolution of fiscal issues confronting higher education institutions.

Associates has structured its services to provide such institutions with broad and cost-effective access to a significantly wider range of financial management experience than is readily available to them from their internal staff resources. Associates’ extensive experience with a nationally diverse selection of peer colleges also provides knowledge and familiarity with a range of successful options to current financial issues.

Associates’ financial management services focus on:

· Identification of financial management problems

· Structuring of effective solutions to such problems

· Implementation of such solutions

· Staff evaluation / support / mentoring

· Interim financial management services. During times of actual or anticipated vacancy in the institution’s V.P. Finance / C.F.O. position, this can also include actual provision of an “on-campus interim C.F.O." or financial manager who is experienced in using such transition periods to evaluate institutional needs, staff resources and financial operations; to restructure the Finance Department if needed; and to manage day-to-day financial operations, in preparation for and recruitement of a new permanent C.F.O. either externally or from internal staff resources.
